Its program in Mind-Body Medicine offers interventions and treatments such as mind-body skills training, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Depression, and Cognitively-Based Compassion Training. Research in compassion has focused on the role of compassion meditation in improving well-being of breast cancer survivors. Community programs in Cognitively-Based Compassion Training are available for local agencies and groups on a case by case basis.
